Rehearsals Canceled - Both Shows

Guess what folks?

You have a day off from rehearsal today, 12/13!

There is a speech and debate tournament in all of our rehearsal-eligible spaces today, so with no auditorium, lobby, choir room, classroom or drama room...take a nice day!

See you Monday, Wolves...and Petrocchi will see you Complete Workers.

Cast and Crew Lists: Complete Works... and The Wolves

Hey there, y'all -

Thank you.

No, seriously...thank you.

We have two outstanding, contrasting, small-scale but deeply-engaging shows to share with this community as of tonight, and I'm not only excited for the audiences that'll get to experience those shows in February, but also for the wonderful teams that'll be building them piece by piece, as well as the future of this company given the amazing talent, passion, and potential.  Amazing work.

These shows, and the folks who've lent us their talents this past week, have allowed us to flex our range quite a bit: a big, physical comedy, and a gritty sports crossover.  Consequently, we have some new faces in new places, as well as a new opportunity that I'll explain below...

-Swings-

We are going to be offering a unique opportunity for three actors to support The Wolves in roles known in theatre as Swings.  The folks who are being offered the Swings position are new/developing members of the company for whom some time involved with the production process may help their overall development in terms of future opportunities.  While many of the details of the Swings roles will be determined in collaboration with the prime cast, director, and management, some of the features/obligations will be these:

-Each Swing will be responsible for preparing and shadowing 2-3 roles in the show

-Each Swing will attend the initial table work and early rehearsals, with the remainder of the schedule to be determined later

-Swings will not be guaranteed a show, but should be available to perform...but will be guaranteed a run crew slot, and an invited audience opportunity to perform at the preview or pickup rehearsal to share with family and friends.

I will be asking the four people listed as prospective swings to join me for a short meeting at 345pm Monday, 12/9 to talk about the opportunity in more detail.

-Cast and Crew List-

If you are accepting your role assignment, whether cast or crew, please click the link below; if not, please make sure to reach out via email or in person by the end of the school day on 12/9...and again, thank you!

Callback List - Complete Works...(abridged)

I am always impressed by the level of raw talent in our community. Thank you for the energy, bravery, and commitment you all demonstrated in the preliminary audition. The improvisational nature implemented in the first round can be daunting and challenging even to experienced performers. That said, there are only so many spaces available. If you have not been called back to perform, please consider joining the stage or technical crew.

Callback List - The Wolves

I don't even have words, my friends!  I am beyond grateful for such an amazing turnout to help realize this wonderful play.  Your generous work in the preliminary session was lovely, your willingness to risk in soccer tryout, and your incredible good nature throughout the afternoon/evening was genuinely heartwarming.  Thank you!

Remember, this a callback list FOR THE WOLVES ONLY.  Petrocchi will post his list by end of day tomorrow, and both of us will post Thursday night if/when we need folks for Friday.

I appreciate everyone's fine work today.  Unfortunately this show has some very specific demands, and I clearly can't keep everyone for this production.  If your name is not below, then I'm not considering your work for The Wolves going forward...at least not as an actor.  Please consider signing up for crew and technical positions and help us craft an amazing piece for our community!

If you do see your name below, please be in 108 no later than 400pm.  We'll need to work efficiently to get everyone out on time to take part in Guardian Showcase.  The format will be very brisk; the time with the sides limited...please get familiar with the script in advance.

Thank you, folks!
